The Canadian Quaternary Association (CANQUA) is a group of roughly 150 members devoted to the study of the Quaternary period, the last 2.6 million years of Earth’s history. This inter-disciplinary group includes geographers, geologists, archaeologists, botanists, biologists and many more. CANQUA was founded in 1975, and membership is open to all interested in Canadian Quaternary studies.
