Prix étudiants
La CANQUA remet un certain nombre de prix étudiants. La Bourse de doctorat Aleksis Dreimanis a été créée pour rendre hommage au professeur Dreimanis. La bourse est attribuée à une étudiante ou à un étudiant qui a fait preuve d’excellence dans ses travaux portant sur le Quaternaire. La bourse est d’une valeur de 2000 $. Les Prix David-Proudfoot et Guy-Lortie sont remis à la meilleure communication et à la meilleure affiche scientifique présentées par une étudiante ou un étudiant au congrès bisannuel de la CANQUA. Les prix ont été nommés en l’honneur de deux quaternaristes canadiens qui sont décédés dans la fleur de l’âge après des études brillantes et une carrière remarquable.
